Breastfeeding Preparation Classes
Relaxed, practical preparation for feeding your baby.
A warm, evidence-based class designed to take the mystery and much of the anxiety out of breastfeeding, pumping, and combination feeding before your baby arrives. Available as a private one-to-one session for a personalised, in-depth experience, or in a small group setting at Rose Clinic in Bray alongside other expectant parents. Both options cover positioning and latch, milk production, feeding cues, common challenges, and partner support.
Private sessions available at home or at Rose Clinic. Group classes at Rose Clinic in Bray.
Colostrum Harvesting Session
Hands-on preparation for the early hours after birth.
Colostrum harvesting involves expressing and collecting small amounts of your first milk from around 36 weeks of pregnancy, so you have a supply ready if needed in the early hours after birth. It is particularly recommended if you are planning a caesarean or have specific medical circumstances. In this hands-on session I will guide you through expressing, collecting and storing colostrum so you feel calm and confident doing it yourself.
Can be added on to any antenatal appointment or booked as a standalone session.
“I’m eternally grateful for the support and guidance I received from Lola before and after my daughter was born. During such an emotional and overwhelming time, she was patient, kind, and incredibly reassuring. Lola is super knowledgeable and passionate and she quickly put me at ease and helped me feel comfortable and supported about how to navigate feeding for the first time.
She is medically trained and evidence based but also holistic in her approach. Because of her guidance, my breastfeeding journey was successful, and I would highly recommend her to any new mum or mum to be!
